The president of the Republic, Macky Sall, promised, last Monday, in Dakar, to reduce the procedures to facilitate access to financing for the young people carriers of projects. It was during an audience with a delegation of the Youth Council of Senegal (Cnjs) led by its president Mr. Aliou Sow, in the presence of the Minister of Youth, Mbaye Niang and of the minister-director of cabinet of the Head of State, Mr. Oumar Youm.

“The procedures should be reduced. Since 2013, there were many projects and programs, but nothing was done because of the procedures”, he declared by receiving the office of the National council of the youth of Senegal (Cnjs).
“I will bring together all the partners and actors concerned definitively to reduce the procedures for the young people who have ideas of project”, indicated president Macky Sall.

The Head of the State, moreover, announced the nearest holding of the Presidential Council on the employment of the young people and of a Ministerial council intended to define “the main roads” of the policy which the public authorities intend to set up to support a plan of access to the use of “student's and not educated youth”. The Head of the State, moreover, invited the government “to adopt a new approach so that the year 2016 is one year of employment of the young people”, as he had promised at the beginning of the year.

According to Macky Sall, “youth is the principal force of the country”, in comparison with the composition of the Senegalese population- 65% of young people are 25 years old and more and more than 70% of young people are less than 35 years.
