AMINA Priscilla LONGOH Commissaire Education Tchad

Amina Priscille Longoh, is a young Chadian very active in community life and the humanitarian world. Born June 6, 1991 in Sarh in Moyen Chari, Chad, she obtained her A4 baccalaureate in 2009 and went to Ghana where she began her university studies.

In 2013 she returned to Chad and began her professional life in a telecommunications company, Millicom, before joining the oil sector, Glencore, at the end of 2013. In 2016 she resumed her university studies to hold a Master's degree in communication of institutions at Sup'Management while she was still working.

Very sensitive to the humanitarian cause, she created the Chad Helping Hands Foundation in 2016 to be close to vulnerable groups and especially to promote the education of girls. In three years of exercise, this organization has given thousands of children in Chad the chance to take their first steps to school or to stay there.

Through sensitization and advocacy, her organization broke the silence around menstruation in school by celebrating for the first time in Chad in 2017 the Day of Menstrual Hygiene and the 2nd edition in 2018 which was supported by the Ministry of Health.

Public Health and National Education. Amina also militates for the right of widows in Chad, a cause that earned her the support of the First Lady asking for a bill prohibiting the return of the widow from the matrimonial home. In January 2019 she decided to leave Glencore to undertake and campaign full time for the humanitarian cause which for her is a vocation.
